Resolutions and Decisions

  1. The demo video launch is finalized for Tuesday morning.
  2. The 4x5 version will be used for the main post, while the wide version will be placed in the comments section for desktop users.
  3. Post-launch pricing follow-up planning is deferred to the Thursday standup meeting.

Each resolution on the right was written from the moment quoted on the left.

A staged team standup, recorded and written up by Ube. Every product line on this page is its real output.

To most transcribers, your meeting is a foreign language.

We gave the same recording to a popular open-source speech model with its language set to English. It translated what it could, then labelled the rest foreign. Ube kept the meeting the way it happened.

An English-default transcriber. This is its entire transcript of the meeting.

Good morning. How are you? Are you looking for me? The traffic is on the edge, right? Oh, right. It's just a minute in the bus. We'll just wait here for our stand-up. Okay. Let's start now so we don't miss it. I'll update the demo video. The final cut. There are no flickers, no caption shots. (Speaking in foreign language) (Speaking in foreign language) (Speaking in foreign language) Okay. (Speaking in foreign language) Perfect. Ube. The first half-minute of the same meeting.

Uy, good morning, kamusta? Nakarating ka na ba? Grabe 'yung traffic kanina sa EDSA, no? Ano?

EDSA is a highway, not an edge.

The other transcript is Whisper base, run with whisper.cpp, language forced to English, on the same audio. One staged meeting: an illustration, not a benchmark.

Same meeting. Your language.

Ube writes your notes and a full Minutes of the Meeting: agenda, discussion, resolutions, and action items with owners. Read it in English for the regional office, in Filipino for the file, or in Taglish for the team chat.

Every Minutes document is marked as a draft for your corporate secretary to review.

Every answer, may resibo.

Resibo means receipt. Ask Ube about a meeting, in English or Taglish, and every answer points to the moment it was said. Nobody has to argue from memory.

It works across all your meetings, too: ask once, and Ube searches every one and cites each source.

  1. Start from the menu bar.

Ube lives in your Mac’s menu bar. It records your microphone and the call’s audio as two separate tracks, so the transcript knows your side from theirs.

  2. Take the call the way you always do.

Google Meet or Zoom in your browser. There’s no extra guest to admit and nothing for anyone else to install.

  3. Stop, and your notes open.

The transcript fills in while you talk. When you stop, the meeting page opens by itself with the notes already written.

Turn on live captions and the words appear as you speak.

Plain answers

What do I need?
A Mac. Ube runs from the menu bar, and your notes open in any browser, so you can read them on your phone. Windows is next.
Which languages does it understand?
English, Filipino, and the mix of the two that most of our meetings actually happen in. You don’t choose a language first. You just talk.
What happens to my recordings?
They’re encrypted in transit and at rest, and they’re yours to remove: delete a whole meeting, or a single line of its transcript, whenever you want. Ask us anything else on the demo.
Can I use it today?
Ube is in private beta, and we set up each team ourselves. Book a demo and we’ll get you started.
